ABOUT THE ARTIST       I have a background in arts and crafts of all kinds. I studied dress design and cosmetology. I worked for years as a licensed hairdresser. Now I design custom heirloom portrait dolls. I have experience in oil painting, faux finishing, furniture restoration, window treatments, reupholstering, home decorating, sewing, crocheting, knitting and macrame'. I trained myself in the art of Doll making. Below in some of the pictures is a beautiful doll named Mia. She is a serene peaceful appearing sleeping beauty. She has a new doeskin hand made jointed soft cloth body stuffed with the highest quality fiberfill, fat pellets and weighted steel beads to make a realistic feel . She has hand rooted hair and eyelashes made from a combination of high quality premium mohair and exstention quality human hair. She looks just like a friend of mines baby pictures.

I specialize in Beautiful Hair...and Realistic looking faces... Being a hairdresser for many years and specializing in Cutting, Styling, Coloring and Makeup I devised a special technique that incorporates several colors, textures, and types of hair TOGETHER.... a typical combination in a head of real hair. Also their hair can be moistened and gently styled...  Because the hair is hand rooted and permanently sealed it can be managed like real hair. TOP
